Musgrave House in Belfast is home to some of Northern Ireland's finest private medical consulting facilities, operating within a stunningly refurbished landmark building adjacent to Musgrave Park Hospital. The site needed to provide open, convenient access for patients and visitors during operating hours while being completely secured outside those times, restricting access to principals and authorised personnel only.
Following discussions with the project architects, Electro Automation developed a bespoke EasySpec template specifically for this contract. This standardised the equipment specification across all tenders, ensuring that the installed system precisely matched the agreed design and that the client received exactly the solution they had procured.

The Result
Electro Automation installed automatic bi-parting sliding gates that secure the Musgrave House site completely during out-of-hours periods, with access restricted to principals and those granted specific authority via remote transmitters. During operating hours, the system provides convenient vehicle and pedestrian access appropriate to a busy private medical facility. A time control system manages the transition between open and secured modes automatically, removing the need for manual intervention.
An intercom system provides remote control capability for authorised personnel, and the EasySpec template approach ensured complete consistency between the specified and installed solution.
