The Project
Midland Container Logistics required their new lorry park, container base storage area, and head office to be equipped with a full integrated security and safety system before relocating their entire fleet from their existing site. The existing site was due for redevelopment, meaning the entire operation had to transfer to the new location in a single overnight move.
The project scope covered digital CCTV, fire alarm systems, electrical installation, perimeter alarms, intruder alarms, emergency lighting, and automated entrance gates. The timeline was extremely tight, with no margin for overrun given the hard operational deadline imposed by the redevelopment programme.
