The Project
The Titanic Quarter required a comprehensive parking control system capable of managing public parking, tenant parking, contract parking, staff parking, deliveries, and casual visitors across a wide and varied multi-use site. The complexity of user types and the scale of the estate meant a standard solution would not meet the specification.
Following an intensive and rigorous evaluation exercise, the Titanic Quarter selected Electro Automation and Zeag Swiss manufactured equipment. The system needed to largely self-manage across all parking categories while retaining the flexibility for independent, central, or remote control within each individual car park on the site.

The Result
The Zeag-based system delivered site-wide control from a single management point, handling public, tenant, contract, staff, and visitor parking categories in a coordinated, largely automatic way. The Titanic Quarter operations team can intervene at the level of an individual car park or manage the entire estate centrally, with comprehensive reporting and auditing available across all areas at all times.
The modular architecture of the Zeag platform provides a clear path for future expansion as the Titanic Quarter continues to develop. The system has proven capable of handling the varied and dynamic demands of a major mixed-use development, providing consistent performance and reliable self-management across one of Northern Ireland's most prominent commercial and cultural sites.
