General Operative – Installation & Civils Support
Electro Automation is expanding, and we're looking for a dependable, hands-on General Operative to join our installation team. You'll be right there on site helping our technicians install automatic doors, gates, parking systems, and all the civils work that goes with them.
Your Responsibilities
Assist with the installation of automatic doors, gates, barriers, and parking systems. Carry out civils tasks including groundworks, ducting, cutting induction loops, and cable route preparation. Support technicians and electricians throughout the installation process. Keep sites safe, tidy, and ready for the next stage of work. Work across a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential locations. Follow all health and safety procedures on active construction sites.

Your Areas of Knowledge & Expertise
Practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to get stuck in. Comfort working outdoors and on active construction or commercial sites. Physical capability and strong awareness of site safety practices. Full clean driving licence. A positive attitude and genuine team-player mentality.
Desirable Skills
Previous experience in civils, groundwork, construction labouring, or general site work. Familiarity with induction loops, ducting, or cable containment. Safe Pass or Manual Handling certification. Prior exposure to automation, gates, barriers, or access control installations.
